Hi! I'm Shelly
Shelly, an MPhil Sociology student at Selwyn College, University of Cambridge, is dedicated to exploring the intersections of social and cultural theory with the creative arts. Prior to this, she pursued studies for a Bachelor of Music at Guildhall School of Music and Drama (2020-22) and Goldsmiths, University of London (2022-24).

In addition to her musical pursuits as a clarinettist and composer, Shelly's academic work delves into the areas such as the sociology of digital media, internet cultures and affordances, and the dynamics of work and labor.

Currently, Shelly is the creative director and co-founder of The Social Canvas Projects, a social enterprise focused on reimagining the power of creative arts in driving social change through project-based collaborations.
